With Christmas only a day away we will take one final look at a great recipe to use for our big meal. While stuffing comes in an array of flavors and styles we will go over one that almost any skill level in the kitchen can accomplish.

What you will need:

  • Bread 4 Loaves (Cut into small cubes)
  • Dried Figs 1/2 Cup
  • Dried Cranberry 1/2 Cup
  • Walnuts 1 Cup
  • Pancetta 1 Cup (Minced)
  • Onion 2 Ech (Diced)
  • Celery 1 Head (Diced)
  • Carrots 3 Each (Diced)
  • Butter 4 Tablespoons
  • White wine 1 Cup
  • Chicken stock 4 Cups
  • Garlic 6 Cloves (Minced)
  • Rosemary 1 Tablespoons
  • Sage 1 Tablespoon
  • Thyme 4 Sprigs
  • Salt 2 Tablespoons
  • Pepper 1 Tablespoon
  1. In A large pan brown butter and add the pancetta. Cook until the pancetta begins to crisp.(About 8 minutes) Add in the garlic, onion, celery, and carrot cooking until it begins to show color.
  2. Deglaze with the wine and add in the bread.
  3. Add in the nuts, dried fruit, and spices. While frequently stirring add in the stock until it thoroughly absorbed.
  4. Place the mixture in a baking dish and cook in a 350ยบ oven for 25 minutes.
