Monday mornings are not something that we should dread, yet something we should look forward to. It’s an opportunity to start our work week off right and set the tone for whats to come. Tackling your Monday morning is easier said than done. One way we can get the energy to motivate our bodies is through out food.
Overnight oats can be one of the most energy rich breakfast food trends right now. With all of the vitamins, proteins, minerals, and complex carbohydrates. How do we make it even better? Why with coffee of course!
What you will need:
- Oats .5 Cups
- Coconut milk .5 Cups
- Chia seeds 2 Teaspoons
- Flaxseed 1 Teaspoon
- Coffee .5 Cups
- Almonds 1/4 Cup
- Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
- Cocoa nibs 1 Tablespoon
- Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
- In a bowl add the coffee, coconut milk, flax, and chia seeds. Whisk until it is evenly mixed.
- In a mason jar place the almonds, oats, nibs, and salt.
- Pour in coffee mixture, seal the mason jar with the lid and shake well.
- Let the oats sit overnight refrigerated and enjoy in the morning.
