The recipes that we have been posting over the past few days that really have highlighted the festivities that we will be having with our families on the big night, but what about Christmas morning? While the kids are enjoying all of the goodies from under the tree let’s turn to the kitchen give give the family one more gift. Having a breakfast together as a family on a busy day like Christmas is a great tradition that can be started at anytime.

What you will need:
- Flour 3 Cups
- Baking soda 1/2 Teaspoon
- Baking powder 1.25 Teaspoon
- Eggs 3 Each
- Salt 1.5 Teaspoon
- Cinnamon 1 Tablespoons
- Ginger 1.5 Teaspoon
- Molasses 1 Cup
- Water 3 Cups
- Vanilla extract 1 Tablespoon
- In a large bowl add All of the dry ingredients and whisk together.
- In a separate bowl whisk together together eggs, water, extract, and molasses. Mix the dry into the wet until it is evenly mixed.
- Using a 2 oz ladle pour small amounts of the batter onto a buttered nonstick griddle or sautè pan on a medium high heat.
